Lexicon PCM Native Reverb Plug-in Review

Lexicon is one of the top manufacturers of reverb and effects processing gear so I am excited that they have their reverbs and effects as plug-ins for digital audio workstations. I found the Lexicon PCM Native Reverb Plug-in Bundle recently and I think it is great!

I’ve used the Lexicon reverb and effects processors for years as outboard gear. This plug-in has all of the great rooms Lexicon is known for. You will find the plates, vintage plates, halls, rooms , random halls, concert halls and chamber reverbs that you expect from Lexicon.

This plugin is easy to use and unlike some reverbs you can get to all the parameters and tweak away. If you are familiar with the 480L or 960L LARKs then there is virtually no learning curve. If you are not familiar with the Lexicon sounds then you will be thrilled with the sounds as you find great realistic reverbs in this plugin.

Here are some features.

  • 7 legendary Lexicon Reverbs
  • Hundreds of brilliantly crafted studio presets
  • Multi-platform compatibility (Windows® XP, Vista, and 7; Mac® OSX 10.4, 10.5, 10.6, PowerPC and Intel)
  • Formats that work seamlessly in any VST, Audio Unit, or RTAS compatible DAW
  • Graphical real-time display illustrating the frequency stages of each algorithm
  • Visual EQ section for easy adjustment of both early and late reflections
  • Presets can be stored in a DAW independent format which allows custom presets to be transferred between any DAWs
  • Full parameter control and automation
  • Input and output meters for quick assessment of audio levels going to and from the reverb
  • iLok authorized

This is a great assets to any DAW. If you are looking for something with good basic sounds you might want to go with something cheaper but if you want to stand out with the world class sounds that Lexicon is famous for this is a great investment.

I found the best price here. You save about $400.00 through this link.

  1. It most certainly has opened many doors to opportunity.
One of the best features of using Reaper is that it lets you try before you buy.
Having said all this you can imagine my joy when I stumbled across a system that would allow me to make the music I have always
    dreamed about.

  2. Hey there just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text in your post seem to be running off the screen in Chrome. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with internet browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know. The design look great though! Hope you get the issue fixed soon. Many thanks
